Back in the early 1980’s, Jilly Pelham introduced a box kite she called “Invader” Only a hand full were made by her company, Vertical Visuals. In the day, the construction was dowel and squares of stretchy ripstop fabric.
With the kind permission of her family, the Invaders is again being made. This time it is being made with contemporary componentry. Carbon Fibre and specialist fittings, along with new graphics gives the kite a new perspective.
This kite is a true modern classic.
The kite flies in most winds from about 8kmh upwards. It is 2.85M across x 1.8M high.
